Privacy Policy

This page explains what SkillsetMind collects when you use the pages on lp.skillsetmind.com and apply to become a Founding Creator, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Who we are

SkillsetMind is operated by Skillset USA Inc., a New York corporation. Privacy contact: simon@skillsetmind.com.

2. What we collect

When you submit the Founding Creator application we collect exactly what you type: your name, email address, your professional focus, what you want to teach and where your audience is today. We also record the page you applied from, the time of submission and, if you arrived from an advertisement, the campaign identifiers attached to the link (such as utm_* parameters and the Google click identifier). We do not collect payment details on these pages.

3. Why we collect it

• To review your application and reply to you by email.
• To invite you to the Founding Creator program if it is a fit, and to tell you what happens next.
• To understand which advertisements bring genuine applications, so we spend our budget on the right ones.

We do not sell your information, and applying does not add you to a newsletter or any automatic sequence. You will hear from a person.

4. Where it goes

Applications are stored in a spreadsheet in SkillsetMind's Google Workspace account and a notification email is sent to the founders. Google acts as our processor for storage, email and advertising measurement. No one else receives your application.

5. Advertising measurement and enhanced conversions

These pages use the Google Ads tag to measure whether a visit that started from one of our advertisements led to an application. The tag may set cookies and read the click identifier in the page address. When you submit the form, the email address you typed is hashed in your browser (turned into an irreversible code) and that hash is sent to Google Ads so it can match the application to the ad click more accurately. Google calls this "enhanced conversions"; it does not receive your email in readable form and does not use it for anything other than this measurement. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com and block cookies in your browser; the pages keep working without them.

6. How long we keep it

We keep applications while the Founding Creator program is open and, if you join, for as long as you have an account. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.

7. Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing simon@skillsetmind.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you also have the rights granted by the laws that apply there, and this is how you exercise them.

8. Children

SkillsetMind is for professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be mentioned next to the application form.
